Bryant University Rational Non-Theists (BURNT) is a group for Bryant University faculty, staff and students who affirm freethought and free expression without religious privilege. We support secular governance as the only religiously neutral means of promoting the interests of all constituents on campus as well as in civic life.
The Greater Lowell Area Skeptics Society (GLASS) was started to help foster a healthy community of critical thinkers who gather to talk, eat, drink, game, and whatever else we do to be fun and social. We hold up the candle of science to shine light on the darkness of all things pseudo-scientific. If you've ever questioned the evidence for psychics, ghosts, creationism, or the efficacy of alternative medicines, then you might be a skeptic. Join us.
This is a group for anyone not a part of an organized religion. It is for individuals who don't believe in the existence of a God or Gods. It is a group for the promotion of rational and free thought. I started this group to reach out to a community that does not have (to my knowledge) any other meetings, programs, or gatherings to attend on the Cape. Since I am passionate about my beliefs (or lack thereof) I wanted to gather like-minded individuals together to see what we come up with! This gro …

Thus common sense (in this view) equates to the knowledge and experience most people ALREADY HAVE." We believe that even with ALL O …

We've enjoyed our time with other Atheist Meetup Groups so much, we decided to create one a little closer to home (Peabody, MA). Get together with other atheists on the North Shore for various social and recreational outings without having to travel into Boston! This is not a discussion group, although our members are free to discuss whatever they wish. It's really for people who have already done the research and concluded that the existence of deities is just like the existence of fairies...no …

This group was created because I feel that we need more open-ended discussion groups that allow us to develop community and meet other freethinkers whose thinking is focused on science, philosophy, art, politics, innovative social thinking, agnosticism, atheism, humanism, current events, culture, intellectualism and community development. This group does not espouse anti-religion or anti-cultural movements, nor support a particular political or social platform. All thinkers of all social, politi …
